Visitors touring the Alderway layout studio during an open day
Open days

Walk the studio before you commit to a programme

Half-day visits cover the mock production cells, a short diploma briefing, and time with tutors to match your background to the right course.

What happens on the day

  1. Arrival and campus orientation on West Road
  2. Guided walk through the layout studio and materials-flow lab
  3. Live demo of a short work-measurement exercise
  4. Diploma and short-course comparison with a tutor
  5. Optional one-to-one slot for enrolment questions

Who should attend

Prospective diploma learners, employers considering cohort places, and anyone weighing evening CPD against a full-year programme. Partners and career advisers are welcome.

Practical details

Sessions run on selected Fridays, 10:00–13:00. Wear closed shoes. Parking is limited; the West Road bus corridor stops nearby. Places are limited to eighteen visitors per date so studio demos stay audible.
